On the morning of January 11, 2026, in Dong Kinh Ward, Lang Son Province, Yen Son Urban Development Co., Ltd. (a member of GP.Invest) held the Groundbreaking & Launch Ceremony for the Evergreen Estate project.
This project represents the first international-standard green urban area in Lang Son Province. The event marks a strategic development milestone for Global Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (GP.Invest) in its journey to create modern, sustainable green urban areas across Vietnam, while simultaneously ushering in a new era of urban development for Lang Son.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Tri Dung, Deputy General Director of GP.Invest, affirmed that Evergreen Estate is a strategic step forward, demonstrating the company’s long-term commitment to partnering with Lang Son—a region rich in cultural identity and immense development potential.
Developed by Yen Son Urban Development Co., Ltd. (a GP.Invest subsidiary), the project spans 37.44 hectares with a total investment of approximately 3.5 trillion VND. It will supply the market with 549 low-rise residential units, including villas, garden houses, and shophouses.
Notably, Evergreen Estate is the first project in Southeast Asia to pursue the LEED for Communities certification. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), this system is recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious standards for assessing sustainable development at the community scale.
During the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Vu—Senior Technical Consultant for the United Nations, Vice Director of the Institute for Research on Applied Science (IRAT), and Director of Edeec Co., Ltd., representing the USGBC—personally presented the LEED for Communities certification to Evergreen Estate, recognizing GP.Invest’s pioneering efforts and commitment to sustainable urban development.
Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh, Deputy Minister of Construction, highly commended Lang Son Province’s recent urban development direction, particularly regarding zoning, infrastructure investment, and urban project development. The Deputy Minister urged the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee to direct relevant departments to accelerate land clearance and finalize remaining procedures to facilitate the project’s compliance. He also mandated that the developer ensure construction quality, progress, safety, and strict adherence to legal regulations.
Representing provincial leadership, Mr. Dinh Huu Hoc, Standing Vice Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee, affirmed that the implementation of Evergreen Estate contributes to realizing the provincial action plan for the 18th Provincial Party Congress (2025–2030) and provides a vital foundation for achieving double-digit economic growth in the coming period.
Following the speeches, central and provincial leaders joined the GP.Invest Board of Directors to perform the ceremonial groundbreaking ritual. Immediately following the command, a fleet of modern construction machinery, engineers, and technical staff began operations, officially entering the construction phase with a spirit of urgency and synchronization.
Evergreen Estate is set to pioneer the first modern, synchronized urban area in Lang Son, contributing significantly to the local sustainable development goals.
