Throughout his career, Mr. Nguyễn Quốc Hiệp – Chairman of GP.Invest and concurrently Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Construction Contractors (VACC) has remained deeply committed to advancing Vietnam’s construction and real estate industries. In every role he assumes, his vision centers on elevating quality, professionalism, and the global standing of Vietnam’s construction sector.
In September 2025, at the invitation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea (MOLIT), Mr. Hiệp represented VACC at the Global Infrastructure Cooperation Conference (GICC 2025) in Seoul – one of Asia’s most prestigious forums on infrastructure development, gathering over 300 delegates from more than 20 countries.
Vietnam was among the five nations invited to deliver a keynote presentation, reflecting growing international recognition of the country’s role and progress in the global construction landscape.
In his address titled “Opportunities for Cooperation between Korean and Vietnamese Enterprises in Major Infrastructure Projects, including the North–South Express Railway,” Mr. Hiệp offered an insightful perspective on the potential for bilateral collaboration and underscored Vietnam’s ambition for sustainable growth and deeper global integration.
On the sidelines of the conference, Mr. Hiệp and the VACC delegation also met with leading organizations such as the International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK) and the China Association of Construction Contractors, fostering meaningful partnerships and laying a foundation for long-term cooperation within Vietnam’s construction community.
The GICC 2025 participation marks another milestone in Mr. Hiệp’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable growth and international collaboration for Vietnam’s construction industry, an embodiment of the strategic vision and enduring aspiration that guide his leadership at GP.Invest.
